Traditional Japanese theatre buffs may know this is a figma of Kitsune Tadanobu, the fox spirit that appeared as Sato Tadanobu in the fourth act of the 1747 kabuki play Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura! Made by FREEing and sculpted by Tatsuya Ishibashi (MIC), it stands 5.9” in brilliant, rich colors.
“Mie” is a pose kabuki theater is known for, and it can be recreated with this figma thanks to the articulated eyes. Featuring plenty of other smooth points of articulation, it can also be displayed in a variety of other kabuki poses further brought to life with included tsuzumi drum and sword parts. An articulated figma stand is also included. Let this fox spirit put on a traditional Japanese performance in your collection!
